The Press Café in Odessa is hosting their 'Dine and Donate' event this year

The "Dine and Donate" event's proceeds will go to "Pink the Basin" in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

ODESSA, Texas — This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, you can eat for a good cause.

Press Café in Odessa is hosting their "Dine and Donate" event again this year. They're located inside the Sewell Ford Dealership.

How it works is you can stop by to eat, order on the app or curbside, whichever you prefer.

Whatever you choose to eat, 100% of the proceeds go directly to Pink the Basin.

Pink the Basin is a non-profit organization to help women and men get their mammograms.

This all started in 2020 when Pink the Basin had to cancel their annual luncheon due to COVID-19 and so Sewell Ford wanted to do something to help.

That's when "Dine and Donate" was born.

"'Dine and Donate' week is one of my favorite weeks of the year because the café turns pink, the lemonade turns pink [and] we have pink t-shirts," Elisa Hutson with the Sewell Marketing Team said. "I'm on the Pink the Basin Board so it's something very close to my heart. I just love being able to support my community in a really cool way."

Last year, they raised about $37,000 and now are trying to break the record.
