42-year-old Odessan dies in Glasscock County crash

The crash occurred early Tuesday morning at the intersection of County Road 125 and County Road 120.

GLASSCOCK COUNTY, Texas — A 42-year-old Odessa man died in a Glasscock County crash early Tuesday morning, according to Sergeant Steven Blanco with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).

The crash occurred at 1:27 a.m. along County Road 125 and County Road 120.

According to a DPS preliminary report, Roberto Carlos Pazmino-Mestanza, 42, of Odessa, driving a Dodge Neon, was going westbound on CR 120 and "disregarded the stop sign at the intersection of CR 125."

Yunior Reyes Perdomo, 44, of Dallas, was driving a Kenworth truck with trailer northbound on CR 125 and "struck" Pazmino-Mestanza.

Pazmino-Mestanza died at the scene and Perdomo was not injured, Blanco said.

The crash remains under investigation and no further information is available at this time.
