MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas — On Wednesday, May 8 at 2:32 p.m., a plane had crashed into a field in Midland County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Preliminary information revealed that 34-year-old Que Johnson was the pilot of the plane, Cessna 172 and was reportedly flying for the American Patrol out of Midland.
Johnson stated that the plane stalled, which caused him to crash into a field near Sky Air Park.
The pilot was not injured, and the scene was secured for the FAA.
There was no other property damage from the incident, and no further information is available at this time.
An investigation into the crash will be conducted by the FAA.
