ANDREWS, Texas — The Andrews Animal Shelter will host a "reverse trick-or-treat" event on Oct. 26 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Howl-O-Ween encourages kids to come dressed in their Halloween costumes and to bring treats for the animals at the shelter. Donations will help re-stock the shelter's supply for the next upcoming season.
The event will be free to attend, and families are encouraged to bring treats such as pet-safe snacks, toys or other supplies to help support the shelter's mission.
While monetary donations will not be accepted, staff will have an Amazon Wish List via a QR Code for those interested.
Children can engage with the animals, learning more about the shelter's efforts to find a loving home for local pets and leaving them with a treat for their own.
The event will be held at the Andrews Animal Shelter located at 1020 SE Ave B, Andrews, Texas.
For more information about the Howl-O-Ween event, the public is encouraged to call the shelter at (432)-523-5675.
