One West Texas sheriff is retiring his badge.
Andrews County Sheriff, Sam Jones, says he will not seek re-election.
He tells NewsWest 9, he'll retire at the end of his term in December of 2016.
Jones began working with Andrews County in 1982 and took office in January of 2001.
