Local organizations come together to celebrate Dia Del Niño in Midland

The Hispanic Cultural Center of Midland, the Midland Boys and Girls Club and the West Texas Radio Group got together to celebrate the day with children of all ages.

On April 30, The Hispanic Cultural Center of Midland and other organizations were also joined by the Midland Boys and Girls Club and the West Texas Radio Group to celebrate Dia Del Nino (The Day of the Child),

There were jumpers, face painting and bike giveaways, all thanks to a Reliable Collision Body Shop.

“It’s fantastic; it’s wonderful. And what better way to celebrate Day of the Child than by awarding bicycles and having a celebration. That’s what the Day of Del Nino is all about. And so, we’re happy and excited to be out here, it couldn’t have gone any better and we look forward to handing out more bikes next year," said John Moesch, VP of West Texas Radio Group.

Local organizations are already looking to make plans for next year’s Dia del Nino.
