ODESSA, Texas — UPDATE: Odessa Police Department and FBI are investigating a bank robbery around 3 p.m. at 8th and Texas at Frost Bank.
The suspect walked into the bank, handed the teller a note, and fled with an unknown amount of cash.
Officials say the description of the suspect is a white male, clean-shaven around 5'9"- 5'10", about 160-170lbs, wearing a black shirt, tan pants, with sunglasses and ball cap on.
A similar robbery happened in Midland Thursday morning. A man walked into the Community Federal Credit Union and handed a bank teller a note demanding money.
Police are investigating to see if the Odessa robbery is connected to Midland My Community Bank Robbery that happened Thursday morning.
The investigation is ongoing and more updates to come when information becomes available.
