MIDLAND, Texas — A bicyclist was killed in a crash Thursday morning in south central Midland, according to a Midland Police Department report.
MPD responded to the scene at 6:36 a.m.
Preliminary information revealed that the bicyclist was going southbound on Johnston St. without proper equipment, attempted to cross Carter Ave. and was hit by a white Chevy 2500 pickup truck.
The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and has not been identified yet.
