MIDLAND, Texas — Brian Stubbs has announced his candidacy for Midland City Council, District 1 in a press release on Wednesday, July 24.
Stubbs listed his work experience as president and owner of Air Compressor Solutions. According to the press release, Stubbs' campaign acknowledged that his accomplishments include leading the expansion of ACS with four new locations and an increased workforce from 18 to 90+ employees.
The release further added that Stubbs holds a degree in mechanical engineering and that his vision for Midland includes supporting the oil and gas industry, making roads safer, prioritizing fiscal responsibility, supporting public safety, continuing downtown revitalization and improving the overall quality of life.
Stubbs provided a quote in the release that read, "I envision a Midland where people and businesses thrive, the community is supported, and fiscal responsibility is prioritized." He further added that, "I am ready to bring my leadership, business acumen and commitment to customer service to the City Council."
