ANDREWS COUNTY, Texas — A deceased body was found in the Northwest part of Andrews County on Oct. 17 at 8:00 a.m.
The Andrews County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about an abandoned vehicle that was later identified by the Gaines County Sheriff's Office as a stolen vehicle.
After carefully searching the area, the body of an 18-year-old male was found near the vehicle with what seemed to be an appear gunshot wound to the head.
The identity of the victim is currently being held at this time until next of kin has been notified. The Andrews and Gaines County Sheriff's Offices are currently investigating this situation.
