MIDLAND, Texas — A tank battery fire occurred east of 1379 and SH 158, according to a post on the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Department Facebook page.
The Midland Fire Department responded around 5:15 a.m. However, MFD had to wait to extinguish the fire until the company shut down high-pressure lines.
The section of 158 around the area was temporarily closed but is now open again.
It was reported that as of 7:15 a.m., MFD began to extinguish the fire.
