ECTOR COUNTY, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Safety has confirmed that the Texas Rangers are conducting an investigation into a woman’s death at the Ector County Detention Center.
Kreasta Arnold, 46, died in custody on Thursday around 7:26 p.m.
The Ector County Sheriff's Office previously confirmed to the death and the Texas Rangers investigation to NewsWest 9.
Arnold’s body has been transported to the Lubbock County Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy.
