ECTOR COUNTY, TX (KWES) - An Ector County Detention Center inmate was transported to Medical Center Hospital after hanging himself in his jail cell.
Officers at the jail were alerted Monday evening by inmates that Joshua Joiner, 28, had hanged himself.
Medics and officer immediately responded by administering CPR and an ambulance was sent to take Joiner to the hospital.
Joiner is still at the hospital and is in fair condition.
