ECTOR COUNTY, Texas — If you’re thinking of traveling abroad this summer, you can now update passport photos and check out some library books all from the same place.
The Ector County Library now has self-serving photo booths for passport pictures. The booth accepts credit cards and charges $14.99 for the prints.
According to the press release from Ector County Library, this is $2 cheaper than Walgreens or CVS.
There is no need to make an appointment; anyone can walk in anytime Monday-Friday, 9:30 a.m.–5 p.m., except for the noon lunch hour.
The passport and visa photos are biometrically verified to meet the standards of 30+ countries.
