Ector County Sheriff's Office looking for owner of estray goat

If ownership of the estray goat is not determined by Feb. 9 or the owner of the estray goat fails to pay fees to ECSO by Feb. 9, it will be sold at auction.

ECTOR COUNTY, Texas — The Ector County Sheriff's Office posted Monday about an estray goat that needs ownership.

According to ECSO, the Ector County Animal Control sent out a "Notice of Impoundment of Estray."

The estray goat was found at 2023 North Palomino Ave. in Odessa. It is female, white and black, between the ages of one to three and has black spots on her legs and ear. She also has a black stripe along the back.

The notice says if the ownership of the said estray goat is not determined by Feb. 9 or the owner fails to pay the fees sustained by ECSO by Feb. 9, the goat will be sold at a public auction at 9 a.m. on Feb. 12.
