REEVES COUNTY - A rig explosion in Reeves County continues to burn.
The rig is located 24 miles north of Pecos and belongs to Cimerex Energy.
We're told the rig that is burning is Nor-Am number 24 rig.
The Reeves County Sheriff says they are not being allowed any closer than about 300 yards from the rig.
It's all because there's high levels of H2S gas in the air.
The Pecos Enterprise reports, CUDD, which specializes in oilfield fires is also on scene.
