A fire at Fairgreen Apartment Homes in Odessa leaves 50 people displaced

The fire occurred around 7 p.m. No injuries were reported. The Fire Marshall's Office is investigating how it was started.

ODESSA, Texas — A fire at the Fairgreen Apartment Homes, located at 4675 Oakwood Drive in Odessa, has left 50 people displaced, according to the City of Odessa.

Odessa Fire Rescue and the Odessa Police Department are on scene of the fire, as well as the American Red Cross to help those displaced.

Apartment Fire

More than 50 people have been displaced after an apartment fire. It sparked around 7 pm at Fairgreen Apartments located at 4675 Oakwood Drive. Odessa Fire Rescue and Odessa Police are on the scene. Red Cross is there helping those displaced find a place to stay. No injuries were reported. The Fire Marshal’s Office is also on scene investigating what started the fire. A little later, we’ll be posting a video with Chief Jason Cotton.

According to the city, no people were injured because of the fire.

An investigation is ongoing by the Fire Marshal's Office to determine the cause of the fire.
