This year, all the proceeds of the Halliburton Gunsmoke Benefit Shoot will be donated to the West Texas Food Bank's Food 2 Kids program.
The Food 2 Kids program works to feed the over 25,000 children who depend solely on the meals they receive at school.
"We are extremely honored and excited to be a recipient of funds raised at the Halliburton Gunsmoke Benefit Shoot," Libby Campbell, Executive Director for the West Texas Food Bank said.
Campbell also said that Halliburton has been an "invaluable" part of the Food 2 Kids program for years.
"Their tireless work volunteering has been a huge help to Food 2 Kids," Campbell said.
The event will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 4 at Jake's Clays, 13301 FM 1379 in Midland. It includes one round of sporting clays, food and a drawing entry for a total cost of $300 per shooter. The drawing will be during lunch, which is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and you must be present to win.
