MIDLAND, Texas — Fifty-six-year-old Ronald Lee Rice Jr. of Gardendale died in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, July 27, at around 1:28 a.m. on SH 191 in Midland, according to a release from the Midland Police Department.
MPD responded to the incident that occurred in the 11120 block of SH 191.
According to a report from MPD, Rice Jr. was driving a 2003 Harley Davidson, was going east on SH 191 and left the roadway for an unknown reason.
When MPD arrived, they found Rice Jr. laying near the motorcycle in the center median.
MPD says Rice Jr. died at the scene.
