MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - Thursday, the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Department announced a new 10,000-square-foot, eight bay fire station.
The Capital Campaign to raise funds for new fire station began in 2017.
Starting with $340,000, the department was able to raise another $349,000 need to build the station.
GVFD would like to thank the community, friends, members, and the organizations that contributed to their Capital Campaign.
A Grand Opening will be held January 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 3103 FM 1379, Midland.
