MIDLAND, Texas — Harmony Home Children's Advocacy Center celebrated its 30th anniversary on February 2.
Community members were able to come together to celebrate all the work they have done throughout the years to help both kids and adults as well.
"When we were born in 1993 and became a valid children's advocacy center, all of that changed for these children," said Executive Director Carrie Bronaugh. "And so, to be able to provide these services now for 30 years and growing to really focus in on the gaps that society is now faced with. It's not now it's always about child abuse, but there are other things that are going on. We're working with neglect children, we're now working with child sex traffic victims, and so being able to do that because of our community and what they're able to give back to us is truly amazing.
