MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas — In a press release sent to NewsWest 9, Midlander Heather Bredimus has announced her candidacy for Midland City Council District 1.
According to the release, Bredimus has served as a leader in many community organizations. Being a foster parent, she founded a support group for foster and adoptive families. She's reportedly worked with the Crisis Center of West Texas, Midland Community Theatre, Rotary Club of Midland and many more organizations.
Bredimus, born and raised in Midland, graduated from Midland High School and received her bachelor's degree at the University of Texas at Austin.
