A smoke shop in Hobbs remains open after a raid by Drug Enforcement Agency officials and the Lea County Drug Task Force.
The raid, which happened at "Up in Smoke," was executed because of reports of the store selling synthetic pot called spice.
Spice is illegal to sell or consume in Hobbs.
Officials say all inventory that related to spice was seized and sent to a lab for testing.
If tests reveal the inventory to be spice, the store will be closed indefinitely.
