KERMIT, Texas — Kermit ISD Superintendent Joe Lopez has released a statement on how district officials were made aware of legal actions being taken against a campus administrator, which stems from a previous student disciplinary matter.
"Upon learning of these allegations, Kermit ISD placed the administrator on leave," Superintendent Lopez said. "We take these matters very seriously and are conducting a thorough investigation in accordance with District policies and procedures."
