MIDLAND, Texas — UPDATE: The student has been taken into custody by MISD police for questioning in regards to the incident.

Legacy High School went on a brief lockdown this morning due to a suspected student with a weapon.
A parent provided the tip and it led to the school finding the student with an airsoft gun on campus.
The lockdown lasted approximately five minutes and the school will continue to run on its normal schedule.
