MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas — A multi-vehicle accident near the intersection of South County Road 1290 and Hwy 80 on Monday was not fatal, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Texas DPS told NewsWest 9 that they won't have any preliminary information on the accident.
The Midland County Sheriff's Office was out there to assist and Texas DPS conducted the investigation.
Due to the accident, there was a temporary closure at the intersection if anyone was going east. After an hour or so, the accident was cleared up and traffic was free flowing again.
