Two travel trailers are a total loss after a morning fire in Midland

Midland Fire Department has reported that no one was injured in the fire. MFD believes the cause of the fire is because of an electrical issue.

MIDLAND, Texas — Two travel trailers were fully engulfed in flames around 8:45 a.m. on Sunday morning, according to the Midland Fire Department.

The fire happened in the 4100 block of South County Road 1201.

When MFD arrived to the scene, both trailers were deemed a total loss because of the fire. According to photos released by MFD, the fire was put out.

MFD also reports that a third trailer sustained substantial damage due to radiant heat.

According to firefighters on scene, no was injured in relation to the incident.

A renter of one of the affected trailers is being assisted by the Red Cross.

According to MFD, the cause of the fire was due to an electrical issue.
