MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - Midland Lee High School was briefly placed on lockdown just before lunch today.
Woodrow Bailey with the Midland Independent School District said a student made a "statement" and that student's parents were immediately contacted.
School administrators said the student was located and is now being questioned further.
Midland police said the student is in custody.
Bailey said no incident actually occurred and all students are safe.
The lockdown has since been lifted.
