MERKEL, Texas — A Midland Rockhounds bus carrying the team was involved in a single-vehicle crash on I-20 at mile marker 276 Sunday night as they were heading to Arkansas for an away series, according to a spokesperson with the team.
The crash happened east of Merkel.
According to the team, the front tires blew out causing the bus to hit the center median.
No one was injured in the crash and it is not confirmed that the bus is totaled. However, the team is on a new bus heading to Arkansas.
