BIG SPRING, Texas — Moss Creek Lake in Big Spring has officially reopened to the public.
Colorado River Municipal Water District drained the lake back in February in order to make infrastructure improvements in the area. The improvements were completed on May 10 and the lake was refilled.
Moss Creek Lake is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day. Entry fees rang from $3 a day per vehicle up to $100 for a yearly permit.
