MIDLAND, Texas — The City of Midland has issued a press release stating that the Midland Police Department is searching for two suspects allegedly involved in a stabbing that occurred early Sunday morning in south Midland.
According to the release, officers responded to a stabbing at the Executive Inn, located at 1000 S. Midkiff Road, at 3:16 a.m. on Aug. 11.
“The caller, also the victim, stated he had been stabbed in his neck and the actors had left the scene,” MPD stated. “Officers arrived on scene and conducted first aid. EMS arrived on scene and transported the victim to Midland Memorial Hospital.”
While on scene, officers gathered information about the suspects and their vehicle. After the victim was stabilized at the hospital, he provided a statement.
Later that day, patrol officers located the black Ford pickup truck.
“Patrol officers secured a search warrant for the vehicle." MPD further added, “The vehicle was towed to a secure location and processed with the assistance of the Midland Police Department’s CSI.”
The investigation is ongoing.
