Museum of the Southwest architectural exhibition can be seen now until June 9.
It features work from Midland native Steve Oles's illustrations of Boston’s Moakley Federal Courthouse, the Washington National Cathedral and Maya Lin’s Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
Oles is considered to be one of the world’s leading architectural illustrators.
Before his retirement Oles taught architectural drawing at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, the Rhode Island School of Design, Yale University and MIT.
Also, the collection displays an extraordinary I.M. Pei designed building planned for Midland, but was sadly never built.
The prestigious and legendary works of Frank Lloyd Wright, most commonly known for his architectural houses, are available to view through his reproduction drawings, photographs, and photographic murals.
Museum hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
If you are a museum member or a child under the age of 3, admission is also free.
If you aren't a member admission costs are as such:
$3 for ages 3-11 and seniors
$5 for ages 12 and up
Sunday admission is free to the public.
