ODESSA, Texas — The Odessa Police Department said on Facebook that they have acquired some new patrol cars.
OPD said they have had a difficult time with vehicle purchases in the last five years, but now have the 11 new patrol Chevrolet Tahoes that they purchased in the 2021 fiscal year.
With the new patrol vehicles, comes a new logo to represent the history of Odessa, OPD and their love for the city.
In the post it says the patch resembles the Odessa community and supports a branding guideline that OPD has recently undertaken for a more uniform look.
