ODESSA, TX (KWES) - Odessa police Officer Matthew Marshall was named OPD Officer of the Month for April.
Officer Marshall served in the U.S. Army for six and a half years as an interrogator and spent one year in Iraq.
He was picked based on his outstanding work with narcotics arrests and seizures. In the month of March, Officer Marshall confiscated 31.1 grams of methamphetamine, 17 grams of cocaine, a useable amount of marijuana, firearms, prescription pills, as well as $1,220 cash.
Officer Marshall has been with the Odessa Police Department since April of 2014.
