ODESSA, Texas — On Wednesday, August 7 at approximately 10:33 p.m., the Odessa Police Department responded to the area of E. Loop 338 and NE 87th Street due to a major accident.
After investigating, it was revealed by OPD that a gray Dodge Ram was traveling south in the 8100 block of Loop 338 and struck a pedestrian who was walking in the roadway.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene and was later identified as a 15-year-old female from Odessa.
Next of kin have been notified and the investigation is currently ongoing.
