Odessa woman arrested for distribution of fentanyl pills

According to the arrest affidavit, undercover officers used social media to meet up with Zykia Green and arrest her.

ODESSA, Texas — An Odessa woman has been arrested for distributing laced fentanyl pills. 

According to the arrest affidavit for OPD, undercover officers used social media platforms to get in contact with the suspect, Zykia Green. 

Green agreed to meet up at 2101 Walnut Ave, but the address was changed by the officers later on to 1808 North Dixie. This location is where the Highlands United Methodist Church is. Officers were able to confirm that Green was inside the vehicle and arrested her and another person later on. 

When Green was arrested, officers saw Green put a swisher sweet package under her dress which contained small blue pills with an "M" on them. Green would later admit to selling the pills at 25 pills for $10 a piece. 

Green is currently in the Ector County Jail and has been charged with Manufacturing and Distributing a Controlled Substance.
