WINKLER COUNTY, Texas — Eduardo Lopez-Escarcega, 32, died in a crash Sunday evening after striking another vehicle.
Lopez-Escarcega, who was driving a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, was going southbound on SH 18 and he veered into the northbound lane and struck Sergio Luna-Manjarrez, 48, who was driving a 2003 Freightliner truck with a trailer.
Lopez-Escarcega was pronounced dead at the scene while Luna-Manjarrez was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
