MIDLAND, Texas —
UPDATE: According to a press release from a city spokesperson, Sheralle Fudge, 46, was hit by a truck on Wadley when she walked into the street.
Fudge was transported to the ER, where she was pronounced deceased.
The driver stayed at the scene and no charges will be filed.
The investigation is ongoing.

One was transported with life-threatening injuries after a vehicle-pedestrian accident on W Wadley Avenue.
The accident has westbound lanes of Wadley, between Godfrey and Midland blocked off.
Representatives with the city are asking drivers to seek an alternative route.
