Permian Basin Water Management Council hosts annual Clay Shoot on Oct. 26

The money raised by the Clay Shoot will go to the Midland Salvation Army.

MIDLAND, Texas — The Permian Basin Water Management Council is having their annual Clay Shoot on Oct. 26.

On Thursday, they'll be at Jake's Clay to raise money for the Midland Salvation Army. This will kick off their Christmas campaign.

"It's perfect timing because it's right before our busy season of Christmas," Midland Salvation Army Captain Robert Coriston said. "So kind of like a big Christmas kick off, it goes to not [just] our services but our shelter, our rehousing program, ID program [and] angel tree program. It just kicks off the fundraising."

All proceeds will stay local and help the Midland Salvation Army continue operations.
