Permian High School choir performs at Carnegie Hall

Students participated in a showcase for musical talents across the nation, known as the New England Symphonic Ensemble.

ODESSA, Texas — Sixty talented members of the Permian High School Varsity Choir received the prestigious honor of performing at the iconic Carnegie Hall in New York City yesterday, March 17.

The students took part in the New England Symphonic Ensemble concert, an event that showcases musical talents from across the nation.

The program featured the songs “Trinity Te Deum” by Eriks Esenvalds and Antonino Dvorak’s “Te Deum.”

Before their performance, the students then toured New York City, exploring the city's landmarks and attractions.
