MIDLAND, Texas — A small plane crashed just before 5 p.m. on Saturday at the Midland International Air & Space Port, according to the City of Midland.

The city stated that two people were on board when initial reports came in about the crash around 4:57 p.m.

According to the city, no injuries were reported after the plane landed.

The FAA is expected to investigate the crash on Monday.

According to officials, the runway where the aircraft crashed will be closed until it is moved. The airport is operating as usual, according to the city.
