Police confirm SWAT raid in Odessa is connected with store robbery

The Odessa Police Department has confirmed that the SWAT raid that was reported on Wednesday afternoon in Odessa is connected with a recent robbery at Odessa Camera Center.

ODESSA, TX (KWES) - The Odessa Police Department has confirmed that the SWAT raid that was reported on Wednesday afternoon in Odessa is connected with a recent robbery at Odessa Camera Center.

The raid took place in the 2400 block of W. 3rd St. in Odessa.

The robbery took place early Tuesday morning in the 4400 block of Tanglewood Ln.

Police said their investigation found that three men forced their way into the business, stole jewelry as well as approximately 50 firearms.

Two men, Mark Sanchez, 22 and Alex Hernandez were arrested in connection with the robbery.

A third person, Henry Miller, was found with stolen property connected to the burglary.

Authorities are searching for an additional suspect who committed the burglary at the store.
