Salvation Army opens cooling station during triple digit temperatures

The shelter will offer water and a place to cool off.

MIDLAND, Texas — With May already seeing triple digit temps, the need for places for people to cool off increases by the day.

That's why the Salvation Army in Midland has set up a cooling station at their location at 600 E. Wall Street.

The shelter will serve as a cooling and hydration station for those needing to get out of the heat and get some water.

Our shelter is open for a cooling/hydrating station due to triple digit heat. If you need relief from the Texas Heat this summer please come by our shelter to cool down and stay hydrated. 600 E. Wall Street.
