MIDLAND, Texas — The City of Midland is warning residents of Midland Tuesday about scam calls that have been circulating around the city.
According to Strategic Communications Officer for the City of Midland, Stewart Doreen, scammers are pretending to do business as the "City of Midland Municipal Court."
Doreen also said the scam call will come from "432-685-7316 and is attempting to sell Medicaid/Medicare."
Protecting yourself from scams is of the utmost importance. The City of Midland would like to remind residents that they will direct the public to their website or come in person when attempting to collect payment as opposed to phone calls.
