ODESSA, TX (KWES) - Authorities arrested a second person in connection with Wednesday's Odessa shooting.
According to an affidavit, Meghan Leanne Garza, 21, is charged with hindering the apprehension and prosecution of Roy Daniel Garza.
Roy Daniel Garza has been charged with eight counts of attempted capital murder of a peace officer.
He's accused of shooting two Odessa Police officers.
Those officers, Sgt. Pete Gonzales and Officer Cory Wester, were shot while attempting to locate a wanted man with a parole violation warrant. That's when authorities said Roy Garza opened fire and hit the officers.
Both officers are listed in fair condition at Medical Center Hospital.
Roy Garza was later arrested following a standoff that lasted more than eight hours.
