ANDREWS COUNTY, Texas — A single vehicle accident has killed one in Andrews County.
According to a news release from Sergeant Steven Blanco with the Texas Department of Public safety, Geroge Luis Torres, 42, of El Paso Texas was pronounced dead at the scene after a crash Tuesday morning on State Highway 176.
The release stated Torres was traveling eastbound in his 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe on State Highway 176, when he failed to drive in a single lane. This ultimately caused the Tahoe to veer off the highway into a ditch where it rolled over before striking a fence.
Reports indicate that Torres was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
This crash remains under investigation.
