ODESSA, Texas — Drone footage obtained by NewsWest 9 shows a large fire that happened on Sunday morning at Payne's Gym in the Town & Country Shopping Center in Odessa.
According to the City of Odessa, Odessa Fire Rescue got a call about the structure fire at 9 a.m.
When OFR arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from Payne's Gym. The fire quickly spread to the common attic space of the strip small and advanced to the north.
"Payne’s Gym and the Town & Country Barber Shop are a total loss," the city said. "Aaron’s Rent to Own Furniture & More and Town & Country Drug have severe smoke damage."
OFR and OFR Investigators were on scene.
