ODESSA, Texas — A person has been taken to a local hospital in Odessa after colliding with multiple vehicles, a metal fence and a building Monday, according to Corporal Steve LeSueur with the Odessa Police Department (OPD).
At approximately 12:51 p.m., OPD and Odessa Fire Rescue (OFR) were called to the intersection of 12th and Grant due to a major crash.
Once OPD and OFR arrived on scene, an investigation revealed that the driver of a white Dodge Ram was going north on Grant and "struck a gray Chevrolet Traverse, silver Toyota Camry, gray Mazda 3 and gray Nissan Altima."
According to LeSueur, the driver then collided with a metal fence before crashing into a building.
LeSueur said when the Dodge Ram hit the Toyota Camry, the impact caused the Camry to hit a parked semi-trailer and power line, "which caught on fire."
A total of two people, including the Dodge Ram driver, were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
LeSueur said the crash remains under investigation.
