WEST ODESSA, TX (KWES) - FM 866 closed down around 11 a.m. Monday morning when three vehicles crashed.
A crane truck was driving southbound on FM 866 and a semi-truck was following behind. The crane truck stopped to turn right and the semi hit the truck from behind, making it veer into oncoming traffic. That's when the the truck hit a white pickup driving northbound on the road.
Two people were trapped inside the white pickup while it caught fire and died on the scene. Four others involved in the crash were taken to Medical Center Hospital.
