A Monahans man was killed in a Wednesday night dirt bike accident in west Odessa.
The Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene on Knox Avenue and Triple Crown just before 7 p.m.
Officials say a car and dirt bike driven by 21 year-old Maclane Barr were going northbound on Knox Avenue.
That's when Troopers say the dirt bike began to pass the car in a no passing zone and later collided with the car as it was turning onto Triple Crown Drive.
Barr was pronounced dead on the scene by Odessa Firefighters.
